Building critical second-screen engagement apps for live events (like the PGA Tour for Sony or campaigns for AB InBev) means heavy traffic hits simultaneously in a single second. The underlying infrastructure needed to absorb massive socket connection waves without failing.

I ruthlessly re-architected the mobile backend on AWS using Python and highly optimized Redis. I built a dedicated, aggressive load-testing infrastructure to simulate extreme live-event conditions, identifying and crushing bottlenecks weeks before game day.

I successfully scaled the infrastructure to handle an incredible 1.8M concurrent connections per second, guaranteeing zero downtime and massive success for critical global campaigns.
